Latest news on KCIII and the eclipses

I posted this in November '23. Today we hear that HM King Charles III (or Charles Mountbatten-Windsor  to some) has been diagnosed with a serious illness.  To begin with, KCIII has a Sun/Mars conjunction in his SR chart for this year and this augurs well in that his vitality (Sun) has the energy of Mars. With Uranus opposite, he may (notice that nothing is fixed, the word used here is 'may') have to deal with issues which are unexpected. Running his Secondary Progressed chart (another predictive tool) confirms that he may indeed have to deal with unexpected challenges which crop up (progressed Uranus conjunct progressed Midheaven - indicating sudden change to status/career). We shall just have to wait and see how that pans out.  https://sisistars.blogspot.com/2023/11/full-moon-in-gemini-and-other-things.html  It is rather interesting that the British royal family has a history with eclipses. Charles and Diana got married in July 1981 under the shadow of an imp...

An Eclipse and a King

Image
This evening, at 7:34pm, a lunar eclipse in the turbulent sign of Scorpio will grace the heavens. What is remarkable about this particular lunar eclipse is not only the fact that it is occurring some hours before a much awaited coronation of a king, but also because this supercharged Full Moon lunation makes so many aspects to Charles Mountbatten-Windsor's own personal chart. Read on to find out more about that, but first, local matters. The chart on the left gives us a picture of the lunation as it occurs Malta time. It's interesting have a look at how it impacts the charts of people, or nations or even events.  A lunar eclipse typically blots out the Sun which means that Sol (Sun) will be hidden for a few minutes. If you think about this, it suggests that something will be hidden and the emotions (traditionally linked to the Moon) will take precedence. Furthermore, this eclipse occurs in the zodiac sign of Scorpio - that sign which talks about hidden things or secrets...

Full Moon in Leo, Uranus, Pluto and the two Princes

Image
Good morning, all! We have a Full Moon in the sky occurring at 16 degrees of Leo at 7:28pm this evening. High in the sky we can see Mars, which is currently transiting the sign of Gemini. The real star of the show, however, is Uranus, an outer planet (outside of Saturn). Uranus is currently in the astrological sign of Taurus, where it has been since the 15th of May 2018. This planet takes 84 years to orbit the Sun and where it falls in your birth chart really tells us about generational influences. If it aspects another planet in your chart (Sun, Moon, Mercury to Saturn), then there is a story of how you do things differently.   Uranus was in the same position as today 84 years ago - in 1939. Well, we know what happened in THAT year! This does not mean that we will undergo the same types of events, far from that. What IS interesting is that at 15 degrees, it is aligned with the star Menkar, a star  in the mouth of Cetus the whale, linked with the power of the colle...

The Summer Solstice

Image
Have you ever wondered why we were taught that summer starts on the 21st of June? Or why the zodiac sign of Cancer begins around that date? Or indeed, the others seasons were assigned the dates they were assigned?  It is all very simple - it all has to do with the movement of the Earth around the Sun.  The summer solstice (as opposed to the winter solstice) occurs when the North Pole has maximum tilt towards the Sun. It is at this point that the sun reaches its highest position in the sky (outside of the tropics) and is also the longest day. Depending on the calendar, the summer solstice occurs between the 20th and the 22nd of June for the Northern Hemisphere (and between the 20th and the 23rd December in the Southern Hemisphere).  This year, the Summer Solstice occurs on the 21st June at 11:13am. This is when the Sun is at 0 degrees Cancer. This zodiac sign is associated with the crab, but in actual fact, it is the scarab which is a more precise representative of this si...
