  So the Mercury retrograde had me delay uploading this post until after yesterday's Full Moon in Aquarius, so I'll do my best to get this to you before the sun disappears over the western horizon today.  Let's start with the obvious. An Aquarian Full Moon occurs when there is a full moon when the Sun is transiting the zodiac sign of Leo. Full Moons reflect the light of the Sun and throw light on the intentions sown at the beginning of this lunar cycle, the New Moon. This Full Moon is an aquarian one, meaning there is a certain amount of emotional detachment (Moon in Aquarius), highlighting a need to let go, and this month it is particularly strong owing to the kite formation as shown in the chart.   A New Moon in Aquarius graces our skies at two minutes to midnight on the 9th February 2024. Not only that, but it is also the Chinese New Year, but more about that later.  Aquarius is an air sign traditionally ruled by the planet Saturn. Between the last ten days of January (or thereabouts) until the 20th of February, the Sun will rise against the backdrop of the Water Bearer, Aquarius. We are moving away from the longest night towards Spring with singular vision. Hence, there is a sense of hope for the future, and therein lies the idea of Aquarius; vision, ideals and humanity.  Saturn is the only planet to rule two adjacent zodiac signs. Tonight, just as the sun sinks below the western horizon, the moon will rise directly opposite the sun in the west in what we call the Full Moon.   Good morning, y'all.... there's a full moon out there. This full moon lies at 19 degrees of Aquarius (remember, a full moon is visible because it is opposite the Sun) and is also a supermoon. When the Moon is full and closest to Earth, it appears bigger and brighter.
