Full Moon in Capricorn

As the sun sets on the western horizon this evening, the Full Moon rises in the East, reaching culmination at around 10:30pm. This is a Full Moon in the earth sign of Capricorn.
Full Moons are rather like a pause button, a time for reflection. What started as a New Moon on the 25th June (in Cancer) now asks us to take stock of our thoughts and actions since that time. What plans did you want to implement concerning hearth and home (Cancer)? Those plans may have been 'OTT' given that Jupiter, the planet which encourages expansion, was one degree away. Now that we have a Full Moon in the more practical sign of Capricorn, ask yourself the same question through a more practical lens. How much of your plans were you able to implement? Because the Moon reflects the light of the Sun at the full moon, it throws light on what was inspired at the new moon. Let's have a look at what the sky story is.

Patterns in the sky. The chart here shows a triangle formation which pulls in all the outer planets. The outer planets show a generational influence and as pointed out in a previous post, would impact us lesser mortals in a personal way if it makes an aspect to a personal planet (one of the seven known planets from the Sun to Saturn). Saturn is, as can be seen in this chart, making an aspect to Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in this Full Moon Chart. The Moon is in the sign of Capricorn which is ruled over by Saturn (which is transiting Aries at the moment). It's doing three things here - it conjoins Neptune, whilst also sextiling (60 degrees) Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini. Let's unpack that.

Saturn sets boundaries. Neptune dissolves boundaries. Result? Blurred lines. They are both transiting the sign of Aries, a sign associated with implementing new patterns, birthing new ideas. Put together, and especially as they will be exactly conjunct at 0 degrees of Aries in February 2026, suggests that we are experiencing a cosmic reset. We are in a state of flux. So that's the Saturn-Neptune vibe.

Next - throw Uranus into the mix. The spirit of Uranus was covered in a post previous to this one. Uranus stands for change, rebellion in favour of a new ideology. This vibe feeds into the 'blurred lines' theme.

Now add Pluto to the mix. Pluto is the planet representing transformation. It demands transmutation. Finish one modus operandi and birth a new one.

All of that is packed into the planet Saturn. Also aspecting Saturn is the fixed star Alpheratz, a star which is both the navel of Pegasus and the head of Andromeda. The characteristics of this star according to Starlight (a Fixed Star computer program), is that Alpheratz is a freedom-loving star which can be quite fixated on what it believes to be the way forward. Never mind the rules (blurred lines anyway).

It seems as though this full moon is quite an intense one. I mean - look at the news. If the axiom 'As above, so below' were to be believed, there appear to be many people on news central who are acting out this pattern.

This Full Moon at 18 Capricorn is echoed in two very interesting charts - the chart of the commencement of the American Civil War (Moon's nodes at 18 degrees Capricorn/Cancer), and Vladimir Putin (his natal Uranus is at 18 degrees Cancer). What does this mean? Maybe nothing, maybe everything.

Enjoy the view of our Grand Luna this evening.
I hope you enjoyed reading this.
Blessings,
Cindy
