Of Prime Ministers, Kings, Queens and a Full Moon in Pisces
What a week this has been! Anyone who has been watching the news will have remarked that the United Kingdom have had a changing of the guard, as it were. Not only did a new Prime Minister take office, but the very monarch whose hand they kissed passed away, making way for a new monarch to ascend to the throne. Think about it... the UK got a new PM and monarch within a matter of a few days.
There is so much information to look this week; astrologers who are into this kind of thing will have caste charts for Liz Truss and compared it to the chart of the United Kingdom (yes, countries do have birth charts), as well as looked at King Charles' birth chart and so many other charts that come to mind - including that of Elizabeth I. 😮
To avoid being technical, below find, in point form, some of the patterns that the astrology offers us:1. Elizabeth the First was born on the 7th September 1533; Elizabeth the Second died on the 8th September 2022. The connections between these two monarchs' charts are off the page! These two charts both have Mars in Gemini, Sun in Virgo, Mercury in Libra and Neptune in Pisces. Moreover, Pluto - a very slow moving planet - in both charts, are within 4 degrees of each other. It appears that these two queens have a heavenly connection.
2. Elizabeth II herself was born on the 21st April 1926, Her birth chart has a Capricorn ascendant, with Saturn, its ruling planet, on the Midheaven; this person would be seen (Ascendant) as someone who holds responsibility through their status (Midheaven). ERII's Sun lies at 0 degrees of Taurus, which is where her son, Charles, now King Charles III, has the Moon in his chart. This is hardly surprising; families do appear to have these types of connections in their charts. My son's rising sign (ascendant: the sign rising at the time, place and date of birth) is where my natal Sun is. 3. So does King Charles III have a birth chart which shows that he would be a king? Astrology is a symbolic language, and as such, you could be a king, like Charles Mountbatten-Windsor, but perhaps in a different way. Had Elizabeth Windsor been an ordinary citizen, she might have expressed that Saturn on the Midheaven differently, say, by being the CEO of a financial firm.
King Charles III was born on the 14th November 1948, making him a Scorpio. He has a Leo Ascendant, reflecting his mother's Leo Moon. Charles' Taurus Moon is in exactly the same degree as his mother's natal Sun. Does his chart support the notion of kingship, though? Well, he IS undoubtedly the king. His chart does not contain the same hallmarks of regality as his mothers, but interestingly, his Taurus Moon in his house of career does suggest that he would be seen by others (Moon high in the sky) as someone who cares (Moon) for aesthetics (Moon in Taurus). Venus, which rules Taurus, is close to Neptune (idealism) which, I think we can agree, perfectly describes the king's interest in environmental issues.
4. Let's talk about the Full Moon in Pisces, set for Malta. The Moon will be full at precisely 11:00am, Saturday 10th September. Again, as expressed last month, any plans set in motion at the New Moon two weeks ago should come to some kind of fruition at the Full Moon, or at the very least, like a seed, should send out roots as though to say that your plans are taking root. A Pisces Moon speaks of love for animals, idealism and dreams. It's all about the netherworld... and if you look at where Saturn is - at the bottom of the chart (as opposed to the top of the chart in ERII's chart), as though to say, I'm going home (4th house). Saturn at 20 degrees of Aquarius is precisely where QEII's natal Mars lies.
The world this week presented far to much interesting stuff to look into could not be touched upon here. I came across something amusing/interesting this week: Larry the Cat is an unofficial Twitter account of the Chief Mouser at No.10 Downing Street. Yesterday, Larry tweeted, "There are decades when nothing happens and there are weeks when decades happen." Very true.
I hope you enjoyed reading this.
