Full Moon on 16th April, 2022
The Full Moon in Libra falls on Saturday the 16th April, and to many Christians, this is the day prior to Easter Sunday. At five minutes to nine, tomorrow evening, the Full Moon should be visible on the eastern horizon. Tomorrow's Full Moon is the culmination of the intentions made at the New Moon some fourteen days ago. Think back and recall any plans you put into action. As Jupiter and Neptune got closer in the sky, you may have felt that there was nothing in your way. Mercury is approaching the ever-eccentric and equally brilliant Uranus, so you may feel your ideas are nothing short of inspirational.
Truth be known, there are a few stressful aspects associated with this Full Moon; both the Sun and Moon square Pluto and Saturn squares the Moon's nodes (the horseshoes), so some plans may have to be put on the back burner.
Mars, the sky warrior, has now gone into Pisces, a water sign traditionally ruled by Jupiter. This placement has caught the attention of most astrologers especially as they are linking this Mars/Pisces aspect to the sinking of the Moskva, Russia's flagship. You see, Mars can represent fire power, and in the sign of Pisces, some have taken that to mean that the conflict (for want of a better word) would take to the sea. That remains to be seen.
What is definitely interesting is that when the then President of the USA, George H.W. Bush, and his Russian counterpart, Mikhail Gorbachev, met in Malta to sign the end of the Cold War, it was this ship that the document was meant to be signed on. (Who remembers the gale winds that prevented that happening, and the meeting taking place on the 'Maxim Gorky' instead?)
Back to that watery Mars in Pisces; Mars is in the home of Jupiter, and like any houseguest he must abide by Jupiter's bidding. We might feel less motivated to go after our goals with this placement as Pisces is about foregoing the ego, and Mars is anything but that. Your view on things might get a little foggy, but with that comes the gift that we may be able to perceive the bigger picture and tune into our spiritual side.
How to make the most of this Full Moon energy: this Moon is not without its challenges. Take time out and prepare for the New Moon by letting go of things which no longer serve you, tangible or intangible.
Blessings,
Cindy
