Partial Solar Eclipse in Taurus and a party of planets!

Fancy a party? Well, let's throw in a partial solar eclipse too! At 22:28 tonight, the Moon will partially eclipse the Sun at 10 degrees of Taurus, with Uranus close by at 14 degrees.

Last week, we linked this eclipse to Emanuel Macron, and although I wrote that the charts indicated some form of loss, he was returned to power in the presidential elections. Solar eclipses were seen by the ancients as dangerous times for leaders of kingdoms, when the king's life was threatened. The idea was that the king was the Sun, and if the Sun's light was being darkened, they so was the king's light (or life). In 1302 BC, Chinese royal astronomers predicted a solar eclipse would take place that would block out the sun's light for around six minutes, indicating the king's life was endangered. The death of Jesus Christ was reportedly accompanied by a total solar eclipse.

This eclipse occurs at 10 degrees of Taurus, and in astrological terms, anyone whose birthday is around the 30th of April, July, October or January can expect to see some form of change in their life, and this could be welcomed, or not so welcomed. What is certain is that there is an element of surprise, of disruption, with this eclipse, given that Uranus is prominent in the eclipse chart.

The other big news is that there is a lovely line-up of planets visible before sunrise on the eastern horizon; Jupiter and Venus are very close together in the sky, as well and Mars and Saturn - all lined up (see the article on this here:https://www.theguardian.com/science/2022/apr/30/jupiter-and-venus-will-seem-to-nearly-collide-in-rare-celestial-spectacle). Now this is something that the ancients would have noted and declared that the sky was telling us a story. Jupiter and Venus are both in the sign of Pisces are well placed there, so this is a positive placement. Jupiter rules Pisces traditionally and Venus is exalted (venerated) in this sign. To this, add the fact that Venus' most powerful position is at 28 degrees of Pisces, so there is a very strong sense of Venusian (love of the arts, compassion) energy here.  Mars is in Pisces, and not able to act too much because this sign is all about going inwards, rather than being outwardly active. Saturn, in Aquarius, is in a sign it rules and therefore king in its home. Ideals reign strong.

Another two events form part of this chart; Pluto, the god of the underworld (with Cerberus the dog, and Persephone, right) began its backwards walk (retrograde) today, the day of the eclipse, so this adds a sense of urgency to dig deep, go beneath the surface. Mercury also entered the sign of Gemini, its home, so communication will be greatly assisted by this placement.

Change, an element of surprise, lofty ideals, looking inwards, these are all part of this eclipse vibe.

In a nutshell, this eclipse promises some good vibes - thank Jupiter and Venus for that.
Blessings.

Cindy
