New Moon in Aries at the Spring Equinox

Image
On the 21st March, 2023, just after sunset, the Sun goes into 0 degrees of Aries, marking the beginning of the Spring season in the northern hemisphere.  It is not every year that there is a New Moon on the Equinox, when the Sun reaches the first point of Aries. This event will mark the beginning of a new lunar cycle and an excellent opportunity for us to set intentions and start new projects. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is known for its bold and assertive nature. It is a fire sign, which symbolizes passion, creativity, and action. When the New Moon is in Aries, we are encouraged to embrace our inner warrior and take bold steps towards achieving our goals. The New Moon in Aries is a time of new beginnings, and we are urged to take action and seize opportunities. It is a time to break free from old patterns, habits, and limiting beliefs that may be holding us back. We are encouraged to be brave, take risks, and trust our instincts.  It is also a great time for personal g

What's this Pluto in Aquarius all about?

Pluto in Aquarius: Revolutionizing the Future Pluto, the planet of transformation and rebirth, takes approximately 248 years to orbit the Sun, spending around 20 years in each sign. On the 23rd March 2023, Pluto will enter Aquarius, marking a significant shift in the way astrologers look at and interpret astrological charts with this new placement.  Aquarius is the sign of innovation, technology, and social change. It is associated with progress, revolution, and unconventional ideas. When Pluto, the planet of power and intensity, enters Aquarius, it brings with it a wave of transformative energy that will challenge the status quo and push us towards a more progressive future. One of the key themes of Pluto in Aquarius is the idea of collective empowerment. Aquarius is a sign that values the power of the collective, and Pluto will amplify this energy, encouraging us to work together to create meaningful change in our communities and in the world at large. This is a busy, busy month, and given the movements of some slow moving planets, it's hardly surprising. That, plus a Full Moon tomorrow, has astrologers all over the world busy tapping away at their keyboards describing the sky narrative that is unfolding. First and foremost is tomorrow's Full Moon in Virgo, which will be exact at 13:40 local time. Full Moons are all about things coming to fruition, so ask yourself what intentions you set for yourself 14 days ago at the New Moon. Virgo moons are all about getting our things in order, sorting the wheat from the chaff. It also relates to our state of health and how our bodies function on a daily basis.  The real star of the show tomorrow is Saturn, the planet to do with authority, putting in the hard work and organisation. The circled planet in the diagram on the right shows its position at the very end of Aquarius. Tomorrow, it will enter the sign of Pisces. Saturn typically takes about 29 years to orbit the Sun, so it spends t

Venus and Jupiter... Did you have a look?

This is just a short post to comment on what the skies are offering us. Isn't it beautiful? Jupiter and Venus have met in the heavens and will soon be moving away from each other.  There is so much happening in the skies this month, and this is just one of those events. When Venus and Jupiter - the two benefics - meet,  this portends positive things. Both are in the sign of Aries, which signals new beginnings, and indeed, with both Saturn and Pluto changing signs this month we can expect new sky narratives to take shape.  But more about that in another post - just enjoy the picture!  The Full Moon post will be up around the 7th - so stay tuned!  Blessings, Cindy
