Venus and Jupiter... Did you have a look?

 

This is just a short post to comment on what the skies are offering us. Isn't it beautiful? Jupiter and Venus have met in the heavens and will soon be moving away from each other. 

There is so much happening in the skies this month, and this is just one of those events. When Venus and Jupiter - the two benefics - meet,  this portends positive things. Both are in the sign of Aries, which signals new beginnings, and indeed, with both Saturn and Pluto changing signs this month we can expect new sky narratives to take shape. 

But more about that in another post - just enjoy the picture!

The March Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon....and more

  Tomorrow's Full Moon is a lunar eclipse, heralding the eclipse season for 2024. It occurs at 08:00 and will not be visible from our part of the world.  One thing to note is that due to precession, the zodiac and the constellations are out of synch by about 30 degrees, so whilst we say that the Moon is in the sign of Libra, the Moon will appear in the sky with Virgo as its backdrop. New Moon in Leo.... and more (read on).

  Are you feeling the heat? Astrologically, a new moon is all about implementing new plans, bringing others to a close and setting new intentions. Although this is stated in each of the blog posts, they are not the same for each new moon in a year. A new moon in Cancer is not the same as a new moon in Pisces, though theoretically they are both water signs. What you may find is that if you keep a personal journal, during the Leo New Moons period the same issues generally tend to crop up. Solar Eclipse and its links to 1501....

  And here it is... the chart for the New Moon in Aries, also a total solar eclipse. I've been reading a lot of different takes on this eclipse. Let me explain why there are different views on it.  Fact number one: different astrologers will have different takes on it depending on what they see in the chart. That is why astrology is not only a science, but also an art. This is why I suggest reading a variety of interpretations of astrological perspectives on this eclipse (or any other, for that matter) and see what you can take from it.  Fact number two: eclipses do not affect everyone in the same way.
