Aries Full Moon and the Rabbit Hole

It's been quite a hectic week for me (started school) and so this blog post is late.  Yesterday, the 29th September, there was a glorious full moon gracing our night skies. This is an Aries Full Moon which is highly energised and is a precursor to next month's eclipse season.

Just have a look at the photo taken from the yard of my abode! Glorious, isn't it? This moon, people, is the final supermoon of 2023. A supermoon looks larger than our usual full moons due to the proximity of the Moon to Earth at the time of the full moon.

An Aries full moon is a fiery one. The real star of the show is still Venus as she squares (90 degrees) Uranus in the Full Moon Chart. Given that Venus represents love, money or how you network with others, it is possible that this placement offers up challenges to do with finances or our relationships with significant others. A Venus/Uranus combination usually brings with it a 'flash in the pan' situation where you suddenly find yourself having to deal with a sudden (Uranus) romantic/monetary event. In terms of romance, Venus/Uranus meetings are exciting but not long-lasting, with more of a 'fleeting' encounter which fizzles out. The need for 'freedom' is very much a Uranus thing. So if you suddenly feel attracted to someone 'unusual', remember that the Aries Full Moon will encourage you to follow this up: take care here - it might upset the dynamics of other important relationships.

If it describes some event of a financial nature, similarly, do consider the ramifications. This is not a good time to make any financial commitments on the spur of the moment.

Mars, the planet associated with that which motivates us to act, is in a harmonious aspect with Venus, just 60 degrees away from Venus. The thing to remember is that Mars is in Libra, directly opposite the sign which it rules. Thus, the Aries Full Moon is ruled over by Mars who is, at the moment, not in a position to take any initiative (which Mars likes) as Libra is about maintaining harmony, rendering it somewhat indecisive. Are you feeling that 'I don't know what I should do, exactly....' feeling? That's Mars in Libra.

As if this wasn't enough to give us brain fog, throw in a Mercury (communication) in Virgo (acute mental faculties) opposite Neptune (illusion/disillusion) in Pisces (I want to be one with everything). This is enough to throw us down the rabbit hole. Try to find the balance between being too skeptical and too idealistic. Balance is the key here. Talk about the Golden Mean!

So if you do feel the pull towards something or someone exotic, proceed with caution. remember that this may be a fleeting moment which could throw you into a quandary. All you need to do is to see things for what they are. Transient.

I hope you enjoyed reading this.

Blessings,

Cindy
