Apologies for not....

 

I was just checking my posts and realised that a blog post for the New Moon on the 13th was not uploaded. So convinced was I that I had done the work... but then doubt crept in. In what was an extremely busy week what with work and home duties (even sleep was rationed), somewhere in my brain I recalled having written something about the Moon, Sun and Mars opposite Uranus, which I thought would probably show up as an explosion/eruption somewhere in the world. Iceland seemed to fit the bill.... but all was imagined. The groundwork was done so I'll include that information in my next post for the Full Moon of the 27th. 

On another note - regarding forgetting - there is an interesting correlation between the skies of 2023 and those of the 11th November 1918. Lest we forget.

  Tomorrow's Full Moon is a lunar eclipse, heralding the eclipse season for 2024. It occurs at 08:00 and will not be visible from our part of the world.  One thing to note is that due to precession, the zodiac and the constellations are out of synch by about 30 degrees, so whilst we say that the Moon is in the sign of Libra, the Moon will appear in the sky with Virgo as its backdrop. New Moon in Leo.... and more (read on).

  Are you feeling the heat? Astrologically, a new moon is all about implementing new plans, bringing others to a close and setting new intentions. Although this is stated in each of the blog posts, they are not the same for each new moon in a year. A new moon in Cancer is not the same as a new moon in Pisces, though theoretically they are both water signs. Solar Eclipse and its links to 1501....

  And here it is... the chart for the New Moon in Aries, also a total solar eclipse. I've been reading a lot of different takes on this eclipse. Let me explain why there are different views on it.  Fact number one: different astrologers will have different takes on it depending on what they see in the chart. That is why astrology is not only a science, but also an art. This is why I suggest reading a variety of interpretations of astrological perspectives on this eclipse (or any other, for that matter) and see what you can take from it.  Fact number two: eclipses do not affect everyone in the same way.
