Partial Solar Eclipse in Taurus and a party of planets!

Image
Fancy a party? Well, let's throw in a partial solar eclipse too! At 22:28 tonight, the Moon will partially eclipse the Sun at 10 degrees of Taurus, with Uranus close by at 14 degrees.    Last week, we linked this eclipse to Emanuel Macron, and although I wrote that the charts indicated some form of loss, he was returned to power in the presidential elections. Solar eclipses were seen by the ancients as dangerous times for leaders of kingdoms, when the king's life was threatened. The idea was that the king was the Sun, and if the Sun's light was being darkened, they so was the king's light (or life). In 1302 BC, Chinese royal astronomers predicted a solar eclipse would take place that would block out the sun's light for around six minutes, indicating the king's life was endangered. The death of Jesus Christ was reportedly accompanied by a total solar eclipse.  This eclipse occurs at 10 degrees of Taurus, and in astrological terms, anyone whose birthday is around

The French Presidential Elections, Macron and the Partial Solar Eclipse

Image
I make no bones about it, I waited for the results of the French presidential elections with baited breath; there's too much going on in Europe and a radical change, to my mind, in the EU family, might have proven too much for stability of the union. You may not agree with me, and that is fine. 'As above, so below' is what astrology holds. Human doings is but a reflection of the skies, this is the way astrology works. So let's look at why Emanuel Macron was possibly favoured over Marine Le Pen.  Monsieur Macron has an interesting chart. His natal Sun is at the end degree of Sagittarius conjunct Mercury at 29 degrees, a position which astrologers hold to be something intense, the peak of Sagittarian energy.  Another very, very, interesting aspect in Macron's chart is the Moon-Uranus opposition. The Moon usually represents how one responds emotionally. With a Taurus Moon, he values physical security and tries to provide that security for others. With Uranus opposite

Full Moon on 16th April, 2022

Image
The Full Moon in Libra falls on Saturday the 16th April, and to many Christians, this is the day prior to Easter Sunday. At five minutes to nine, tomorrow evening, the Full Moon should be visible on the eastern horizon. Tomorrow's Full Moon is the culmination of the intentions made at the New Moon some fourteen days ago. Think back and recall any plans you put into action. As Jupiter and Neptune got closer in the sky, you may have felt that there was nothing in your way. Mercury is approaching the ever-eccentric and equally brilliant Uranus, so you may feel your ideas are nothing short of inspirational.  Truth be known, there are a few stressful aspects associated with this Full Moon; both the Sun and Moon square Pluto  and Saturn squares the Moon's nodes (the horseshoes), so some plans may have to be put on the back burner. Mars, the sky warrior, has now gone into Pisces, a water sign traditionally ruled by Jupiter. This placement has caught the attention of most astrologers

Meetup of Two Giants in the Sky!

Image
Ever wondered what it is like when two giants meet? Well, brace yourselves: Jupiter and Neptune have been getting closer to each other (in terms of zodiacal degrees) and today they are exact in the sign of Pisces! When two planets conjoin each other (occupy the same space of sky) - particularly when one involves the outer planets, then this is something we take note of.  Jupiter has a 12 year orbit around this Sun. In astrology, Jupiter is one of the benefic planets and has an expansive energy. Wherever this planet is in your chart, it dons an optimistic vibe and also an expansive one: if Jupiter connects with Mercury, communication is going to be expanded in some way, depending on the placement in the chart and the sign it is in.  Neptune has a 165 year orbit around the Sun. In astrology, Neptune represents the nebulous, our dreams, and also illusions and disillusions. It is also one of the gas giants. Surely, every 12 years or so, Jupiter will 'catch' Neptune on its way aro

New Moon in Aires and a pope!

Look at that title - Freudian slip! I realised when proofreading what I'd written - and decided to leave it. Clue. Guess who was born in Buenos Aires? Read on.  Apologies for not getting this information out to you on time. Life sometimes takes over and you have to stop and get your breath.  The planet's path crossed the first point of Aries on the 20th of March at 16:33 and yesterday we had our  New Moon in Aries. On top of that, we also have the head of the Holy Catholic Church visiting us this weekend. Let's have a look at what narrative the sky is giving us.  New Moons are always about seeding; this is where you get to start something new, a project, perhaps, or just an intention, which then culminates at the Full Moon. You might not be well acquainted with astrological charts, but to explain just a little bit about charts, there are two angles which astrologers give much importance to: the line that runs from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock is called the ascendant, an
